Friday, and the start of Regional play..

So today I’m live at McKethan Stadium in Gainesville, Florida covering the 2010 NCAA Gainesville Regional.

You can check out my updates and post game coverage Here.

More after the jump.

It’s raining so let’s explore some rumors out there.

- The Big 12 supposedly finds itself in a membership revote at the conferences annual meeting. According to Texas’s athletic director, that’s all because Baylor might be on the out. Could this possibly be true? Not likely. Baylor provides way more outside of just football, in terms of non-revenue sports and the fact that it is  a  highly regarded academic school. I believe that the re-vote might be due to Missouri or Nebraska not wanting to resign a 10-year contract.

- Florida International’s Garret Wittles is currently 0-3 and his 54-game hit streak is in jeopardy. According to Rival.com’s Kendall Rogers, Wittles apparently is suffering from groin cramps. Hopefully Wittles can manage a hit.

- Today is the day the NCAA is suppose to release Southern California’s investigation findings. What will they be?

Back with more later.
